Oslo - From the mountain to the fjord. A biketrip visiting some of Oslos most famous landmarks.
This is around an hour long bike tour starting over 500 metres above sealevel, visiting such iconic places like Tryvannstårnet, Frognerseteren, start of Korketrekker'n, Holmenkollen Ski Jump, Vigelandsparken (known as Frognerparken in Norway) and Skøyenparken and ending up at Fornebu Beach just outside Oslo city border. Join me on this bike trip in brilliant weather.
Some practical information: Tryvannstårnet and the location I started the trip is 529 metres above sealevel but do not despair. You can take the Oslo Metro up every 15 min. from city centre up to Frognerseteren Station which is the end terminus. From there it only takes around 10 min. to bike up to Tryvannstårnet. It is just a little over the kilometer.
